Aberdeen Man Arrested Pushing Refrigerator Down The Road at 3 AM

An Aberdeen man was stopped cold by police overnight after he was reported pushing a used refrigerator down the street.

A neighbor near the Aaron’s rental center in East Aberdeen called 911 after they were awoken by a loud dragging sound around 3:30 this morning. They saw a 6-foot man attempting to push the fridge toward Pioneer Boulevard heading for think-of-me hill.

Officer Kristi Lougheed said that there were a couple of used appliances sitting behind the rental store, it seemed that the man thought they were there to be taken. They were not. The man told officers that he lived on the hill and thought he could push the fridge home.

Officers questioned the 33-year-old and arrested him on an unrelated misdemeanor warrant.
