An argument over rent money left one Aberdeen man stabbed in the back Friday night. Police Captain John Green tells us the man walked to the police station around 8 that night, knocked on the staff door, and told an officer “she stabbed me”
The officer saw evidence of a recent on his back, and requested the Aberdeen Fire Department respond to the station to treat the man, a 51 year old Aberdeen male.
The investigating officers determined that an alleged verbal argument had occurred at an apartment in the 200 block of East First street. Officers were told that the argument was over rent money owed by the female roommate of the victim. Allegedly at one point during the argument, the victim male turned his back to the suspect who stabbed him in the back with a knife.
A 56 year old Aberdeen female was arrested by responding Aberdeen Officers at the apartment.
An Aberdeen Detective was called in and obtained a search warrant and processed the crime scene.
