Hoquiam Logger’s Playday shirt to tribute Burlap Rabey

HOQUIAM, Wash. – T-shirts for the Hoquiam Logger’s Playday this year will be sold in honor and tribute to the late trucker Dave Rabey. Member Don Bell posted on the group’s facebook page over the weekend that all proceeds of the past, present and future T-shirts will go directly to the scholarship fund in his name.
The shirts feature a familiar logger pointing toward Burlap Pass, with an image of Rabey in the clouds above.

The state earlier this year officially named a mountain pass in north Grays Harbor County “Burlap Pass” to honor Rabey.

Shirts in the past have made national news with an image of Bin Laden and the phrase  “Osama Bin Loggin.'”. Last year the shirts featured the logger shoving a toilet plunger up the rear of a Wild Olympics man with the phrase “Uncloggin, the loggin” and the words ‘parade route’ on a nearby toilet.
