Motorcycle accident on 101 claims rider

SHELTON, Wash. – An Olympia woman was pronounced dead at the scene of a motorcycle accident on state route 101 just outside of Shelton Wednesday night. The Washington State Patrol has notified family of 33 year old Sarah Noble. She was struck by a 2006 Chevrolet Cobalt as a 24 year old Shelton woman was driving south on U.S. 101 and attempted to pass another vehicle striking Nobles 1992 Honda VF750 motorcycle in the northbound lane.

The driver of the car was transported to Mason General as a precaution. That accident remains under investigation.
