Federal Way surf fisherman died of cardiac arrhythmia

OCEAN SHORES, Wash. – The Grays Harbor County Coroner’s Office says the surf fisherman who’s body was found near Iron Springs on Sunday died as the result of a probable cardiac arrhythmia. The Forensic Pathologist made the conclusion after the autopsy of 65 year old Antonio Inocencio of Federal Way.
Cardiac arrhythmia is a condition in which the heart’s normal rhythm is disrupted, and has been associated with cold-water immersion deaths in the past.
After the discovery of Inocencio’s body Sunday afternoon, a search was conducted for a possible second victim thought to have gone fishing with him, detectives located his friend on Monday and determined Inocencio had gone fishing alone.
