Aberdeen Fire Department Radios Stolen

On May 29th the Aberdeen Fire Department reported two portable radios stolen off of one of there fire apparatus.
On 5/17 a women walked into the Aberdeen Fire Department and returned one of the departments portable radios.
She said about three days ago she was leaving the Quick Stop store which is in the 600 Block of W. Market St.  She said a male subject on a bike came up to her and told her that he had some items for sale.  The women said she saw the portable radio and saw that it had “Aberdeen Fire” engraved on the bottom of the radio.  She asked the man how much for the radio.  He told her he wanted  $50.00 dollars for the radio.  The women paid the man and he left on his bike.
The women returned the radio to AFD.  They returned her fifty dollars she paid for the radio.
The women described the man selling the radio as:
Around 20 years of age, dark collar length hair, jeans and a dark colored windbreaker type jacket with a hood.  She said he had the hood up on his head.  He had a bad complexion, like he had been picking his face, no facial hair, about 5-7, thin build.  She said his clothes were baggy and dirty.  She said he was on a primer gray colored BMX type bike.
