Miss Grays Harbor Outstanding Teen, Erin Kuhn Takes Fourth Runner-Up

Burien, WA – Miss Washington’s Outstanding Teen Organization (MWOTeen) announces 2013 award winners. MAOTeen has made available more than $4 million in college scholarships nationally to young women from 13 to 17 years of age. This year the 24 MWOTeen contestants were awarded the following awards and scholarships:

  • Miss Washington’s Outstanding Teen 2013 winner of $2,500 scholarship and a prize package of more than $7,000 – Miss Puget Sound ‘s Outstanding Teen 2013, Haley Downey
  • First Runner-Up winner of a $1,000 scholarship – Miss Snohomish County’s Outstanding Teen 2013,Tamara Sevao 
  • Second Runner-Up winner of a $750 scholarship – Miss Tri-Cities’ Outstanding Teen 2013, Tayler Plunkett
  • Third Runner-Up winner of a $500 scholarship – Miss Pierce County’s Outstanding Teen 2013, Brooke Williams
  • Fourth Runner-Up winner of a $350 scholarship – Miss Grays Harbor’s Outstanding Teen 2013, Erin Kuhn

The Competition was held at Highline Performing Arts Center in Burien.


Miss Washington’s Outstanding Teen is a scholarship-based program offering accomplished teens the opportunity to be awarded funds for college. The program promotes scholastic achievement, creative accomplishment, healthy living and community involvement for America’s teens.

Miss Washington’s Outstanding Teen is an official preliminary of the Miss America’s Outstanding Teen Program, and little sister to the Miss Washington and the Miss America Organization.  We will begin taking applications for 2014 open contestants on October 1, 2014.
