Grays Harbor Youth Works to Hold Workshop on Internship Opportunities

ABERDEEN, Wash. – Grays Harbor Youth Works will be holding a public meeting in the Commissioner’s Chambers at the Port of Grays Harbor on Tuesday (February 12th) from 4-6 pm to discuss the best ways to manage internships that will become available through Grays Harbor Youth Works for teens and young adults aged 16-21.
Grays Harbor Youth Works is committed to changing the story of high dropout rates and low paying jobs for young people in our community. By working together, business owners, educators, teens and parents of teens can develop an internship program that will increase the number of teens who make the successful transition into life defining careers. This Forum will happen at the Grays Harbor Port Authority on Tuesday, February 12th from 4:00-6:00 pm and will be co moderated by Dr. Ed Brewster, President of Grays Harbor College and Dr. Doreen Cato from Grays Harbor Youth Works.

Please bring your hopes, insights and ideas as we work together to create a stronger, more certain future for our youth.
