MOCLIPS, Wash. – A 47 year old Moclips man faces second-degree assault charges after a 48 year old man was struck several times with a wooden club early Monday morning. Grays Harbor County Sheriff Rick Scott tells us the incident occured at the site of an old mill in Moclips, where several people are known to live. The victim suffered substantial injuries to his face and head and was transported to St. Peters Hospital in Stable but Serious condition.
The suspect was arrested and transported to the GHC Jail where he was booked for Assault 2nd degree. Both subjects have had an ongoing dispute that eventually lead to this assault.
