Aberdeen Businesses Seeing Counterfeit Bills

ABERDEEN, Wash. – Police are warning Aberdeen businesses of an increase in counterfeit bills, Police Captain John Green tells us just before 8 Monday night Aberdeen officers were called to Safeway about a subject at the store who had presented a few counterfeit one hundred dollar bills. The subject claimed he he did not have any information about the bills that were spotted because they had the same serial number.
Citizens and business are cautioned to check any bills they receive to ensure the are legitimate U.S. currency. More information is available at www.secretservice.gov
