Shelton Man Rescued From Well, 45 Foot Drop

SHELTON, Wash. (AP) — A 33-year-old construction worker in Shelton says he was walking around a property searching for a wellhead when he found it — falling through rotten boards and 45 feet down a hole. KING-TV reports that Clinton Heinis landed yesterday in about 7 feet of water. Rescue crews arrived quickly, giving the man a helmet and life jacket while they worked to lift him out.
