GRAYS HARBOR COUNTY... * UNTIL 530 PM PST MONDAY. * MODERATE TO HEAVY RAIN IS EXPECTED ACROSS THE WESTERN WASHINGTON LOWLANDS TODAY. RAINFALL AMOUNT OF 1 TO 2 INCHES ARE FORECAST WITH HIGHER AMOUNTS POSSIBLE ALONG THE COAST AND NEAR THE OREGON BORDER. THIS WILL PRODUCE MINOR FLOODING OF URBAN AREAS AND SMALL STREAMS INTO THIS EVENING ESPECIALLY ROADWAYS THAT ARE PRONE TO PONDING OF WATER INCLUDE UNDERPASSES AND INTERSECTIONS WHERE DRAINAGE IS POOR DUE TO THE BUILD UP OF LEAVES AND OTHER DEBRIS. PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS... EXCESSIVE RUNOFF FROM HEAVY RAINFALL WILL CAUSE ELEVATED LEVELS ON SMALL CREEKS AND STREAMS...AND PONDING OF WATER IN URBAN AREAS...
