State Patrol Investigating Central Park Collision

ABERDEEN, Wash. – A 29 year old Olympia man is under investigation for charges of vehicular assault stemming from a high speed collision in Central Park this morning. The State Patrol reports around 11:45 Tuesday, a 2002 Volvo station wagon was travelling at a high rate of speed when it rearended a 1993 Ford Aero van near Deer Park Drive.

The Olympia man and his two year old son were transported to Grays Harbor Community Hospital in Aberdeen. The 54 year old Montesano man in the van was also transported to Community, all three were treated for various minor injuries and released.

Both vehicles were totalled, and towed to the state patrol bullpen in Hoquiam. The Washington State Patrol says drug or alcohol were involved, the cause of the accident is under investigation.
