Marijuana Grow Operation Busted, Expired Prescription is Expired

HOQUIAM, Wash. – Police raided a marijuana grow operation yesterday in Hoquiam, Detective Sergeant Shane Krohn tells us patrol officer Dennis Luce investigated and served the search warrant on a home in the 200 block of Karr Avenue yesterday morning. Krohn said a 39 year old convicted felon was arrested for possession of a firearm, and the controlled substance, a total of 20 plants in various stages of growth were confiscated.
The man claimed the plants were for a medical condition, and provided an expired perscription.
