August Primary Election Result Certified

MONTESANO, Wash. – The August 7th Primary election results were certified last night, the Grays Harbor County Auditor’s office reports 41.4% voter turnout.

County Commissioner District 2 candidates Frank Gordon and Allan Shores will run to replace encumbent Mike Wilson, who trailed the 4 person race. Arie (pronounced R.E.) Callaghan will face Chris Thomas for PUD Commissioner of District 1 on the November Ballot, and all levees passed except for Fire District 5’s attempt to set a 6 year levee.

With 50% voter turnout in Pacific County, Scott McDougall faces Steve Rogers for County Commissioner of District 1 while Frank Wolfe and Richard Makowski will run for District 2’s seat. Both fire district levees passed in Pacific County.
