Police Catch North Cove Burglar After Picnic Table Fails

NORTH COVE, Wash. – A Westport man was apprehended for residential burglary this week, after concerned neighbors tried to barracade a suspicious person in a North Cove trailer. The Pacific County Sheriff’s Department tells us that when a neighbor saw that someone was in a trailer he was checking on for out-of-town residents, he pushed a picnic table against the door Tuesday morning and called 911. The suspect, a 38 year old Westport man, was located and later admitted to the burglary of the trailer.
