Ocean Shores Stabbing Suspect Identified

OCEAN SHORES, Wash. – The suspect in the Tuesday stabbing attack of a 31 year old Ocean Shores resident has been identified as 23 year old James Lemar Griffin. 

Deputy Police Chief Russ Fitz tells us when the victim answered his front door tuesday evening, Griffin allegedly sprayed an unknown chemical in the man’s face and cut his throat before fleeing the scene.

An arrest warrant for Assault 1st Degree has been issued for Griffin, described as a black male, 6’2” tall and weighing 225 pounds.

The victim of the attack has been released from Harborview.
