Hoquiam to Draft Resolution Against Wild Olympics Proposal

HOQUIAM, Wash. – The city of Hoquiam might be making a stand on the Wild Olympics proposal at their next meeting, councilman Darrin Moir made the request at this week’s council meeting “I’d like to have our city attorney draft a resolution of opposition against the Wild Olympics.”
Moir said he envisioned a resolution similar to that adopted by Aberdeen’s city council May of last year.
Hoquiam council voted unanimously to have city attorney Steve Johnson draft the resolution for review and/or adoption at their next meeting, June 11th.
