After serving six years with the industry’s largest design build firms, Gillespie joined Momentive Specialty Chemicals (previously Borden Chemicals), one of the largest chemical and materials companies worldwide. During his 18 years with Momentive, John served as Process Engineer, Site Leader, Regional Manufacturing Leader and, most recently, Director of Production and Project Engineering for 20 plants in North America.

Gillespie holds a Bachelor or Mechanical Engineering degree from the University of Dayton and is a Registered Professional Engineer.
Imperium, founded in 2007, has risen to be one of the world’s leading biodiesel producers and innovators in the industry. In addition to their Grays Harbor facility that has the capacity to produce 100 million gallons of biodiesel, a recent partnership with Boeing, LanzaTech, PNNL and Battelle has positioned Imperium to be at the forefront of the growing sector of drop-in renewable jet fuels.
