Aberdeen Police Investigate Stabbing

ABERDEEN, Wash. – On Saturday, February 11th, Aberdeen Police officers were sent to the 100 block of North Jefferson Street in response to a man laying in the street bleeding.

Aberdeen Police Captain John Green tells us officers located a Hispanic male in his mid thirties bleeding profusely and appeared to have suffered multiple lacerations to the torso.

The area where the victim was found was near the bathroom building at Franklin Field.

The Aberdeen Fire Department aided and transported the victim to Grays Harbor Community Hospital. It was reported the victim died during surgery.

Aberdeen Detectives were called to the scene and are working on obtaining information on the victim and his whereabouts prior to being discovered. 

Police are asking for anyone who may have observed any type of disorder in the area around 830 PM on Saturday, February 11th to call either the Aberdeen Police at 533-3180 or their tip line at 538-4450.
