Fire Glances Galway Bay Pub in Ocean Shores

OCEAN SHORES, Wash. – Firemen were on the scene this morning near Galway Bay, eye witnesses tell us crews had Point Brown Avenue blocked off in front of the restaurant earlier, responding to a fire in the adjacent building. Captain Brian Ritter with the Ocean Shores Fire Department tells us crews found heavy smoke and fire coming from the North end of the Galway Bay building just after 5:22 this morning.
Galway Bay suffered minor damages to the pub and store, Ritter said the fire was contained to storefront units that were being rennovated. No injuries were reported, the cause and extent of the fire remain under investigation.
