ABERDEEN, Wash. – More communication, that’s what Aberdeen Mayor Bill Simpson says he hopes to facilitate with six scheduled meetings “one of the things that the Chief [of Police] and I had been talking about is, when he first came on we went to the different wards and had ward meetings. We invited people to come and see us, and give their input.”
City staff last night announced six public meetings at the following locations;
Wednesday, Feb. 15, at A.J. West School Elementary gymnasium.
Thursday, Feb. 23, at McDermoth Elementary gymnasium.
Wednesday, Feb. 29, at SouthShore Mall Community Room.
Thursday, March 1, at Harbor City Church in the former Alexander Young Elementary.
Monday, March 5, at Robert Gray Elementary gymnasium.
Simpson said “No solutions would be done that night, then we’ll meet again later on and show them what we’ve done with these ideas.”
