Westport Prepares New City Building

WESTPORT, Wash. – Some City Staff will be getting ready to move into their new building this year “about two years ago we bought a building in Westport, and are retrofitting it for City Hall.” Westport Mayor Michael Bruce tells us the building in between the current City Hall and City Council chambers was renovated a few years ago. “Our first move is to move City Hall employees, as well as our Police staff and Court staff. Then we plan to build a new court meeting hall facility as well as a Police department, which would be behind that building” Bruce said phase two could be a couple years down the road.
