Hoquiam Detectives Nab Un-Registered Sex Offender

HOQUIAM, Wash. – The Hoquiam Police department arrested an unregistered sex offender after following up on a traffic stop. Detective Sergeant Shane Krohn tells us the man has been back and forth between New York and Grays Harbor since 2006. Krohn said after the man’s vehicle was stopped in a school zone for speeding, an investigation found the 38 year old registered sex offender from New York hadn’t registered for years. Krohn said the man was taken into custody without further incident this week, and has since admitted to living in Washington for months without registering.
