Aberdeen Adopts Budget

ABERDEEN, Wash. – The Aberdeen City Council adopted their 2012 budget with a 10 to 2 vote. Councilman Paul Fritz said his “no” vote was on principal, and criticized the city for spending out of other funds “Basically this council, next year, is going to have some hard decisions to make regarding the increase of sewer, water, EMS and any other additional fees. I think you’re going  to be shocked at how much you may have to raise those.”
The council also passed the first reading of their only supplemental budget ordinance for 2011.
