Shoplifting Turns Robbery After Assault

HOQUIAM, Wash. – Shoplifting at Hoquiam Swansons turned into robbery over the weekend when a woman who had reportedly stolen $200 in merchandise punched the clerk trying to detain her, in the chest. Hoquiam Police Seargent Krohn tells us the 30 year old hoquiam woman was arrested and booked on robbery in the second degree shortly after the incident around 6am Saturday morning.
