Stolen Caterpillar Located, Investigation Continues

ELMA, Wash. – Detectives have located the backhoe that was driven from a construction site on Tuesday, Investigations Supervisor Steve Shumate with the Grays Harbor County Sheriff’s Department tells us the 2007 Caterpillar was seen in-use a day later on the Garrand Creek Road, and located yesterday off of the B-Line of that road in Oakville. Investigators would still like to hear from anyone who may have seen someone operating that vehicle, as no arrests have been made and the investigation continues.
