Ocean Park Woman Injured, Airlifted

LONG BEACH, Wash. – The State Patrol awaits drug test results after an Ocean Park woman drove her truck into a tree around 5:30 yesterday, 1 mile North of Long Beach. Investigators said drugs or alcohol were involved when the woman’s Chevy S10 drifted off of Sandridge road, struck a mailbox, telephone box, and side swiped one tree before colliding with another. The 62 year old was airlifted to a Portland Hospital, cause and any charges from the accident remain under investigation.
