Salal Permit Sales Start Next Month

FORKS, Wash. – Salal Permit sales will begin early next month for the Olympic National Forest, Ranger Dean Millett tells us some changes have been made to the program including a daily limit of 200 hands, and more recognizable boundaries. Permits will cost $150 and can be used for 2 months, if supply exceeds demand Millett said a lottery will be used to award permits spanning Mason, Jerfferson, Clallam and Grays Harbor Counties.
