Tree Falls Across Westport Highway, Heard By At Least Two

 

WESTPORT, Wash. – A tree that fell across the Westport Highway today may have been damaged earlier. The Ocosta Fire Department reports no one was injured when a large tree fell across the Highway near the Westport “Y” impacting a passenger vehicle with two occupants around 1 today. Investigators were unable to determine why the tree fell, but said it looked like the tree may have been impacted earlier.
