Aberdeen Police to Get New Cruisers

ABERDEEN, Wash. – Aberdeen Police will soon have some new cruisers on city streets, councilman Paul Fritz said last week APD will be receiving two new Dodge Chargers to replace aging Fords “Some people when they see a Charger they think it cost a lot more, it’s the same cost.”

One cost that Police Chief Bob Torgerson said the department will be facing is the change over in equipment. Previously, Fords replaced Fords, meaning most of the equipment bolted in to the new vehicles. Torgerson said Ford no longer offers a comperable police model.
