Parks Department to Talk Timber Sales

OLYMPIA, Wash. – The Washington State Parks Department is looking to sell off some timber, At their August 11th meeting, the Commission will consider adopting a policy for managing tree risk in campgrounds and developed areas. The Department will also consider sale of excess timber at Schafer State Park as well as Kopachuk, Moran, Scenic Beach, Nisqually, and Seaquest State Parks.
