Former Mill Employees Seek Unpaid Wages

HOQUIAM, Wash. – Former employees of Grays Harbor Paper met yesterday to discuss, among other things, that they may not see some unpaid wages from the company. Rick Piercey, president of local union estimated about half a million dollars in unpaid vacation time that employees did not see on their final paychecks. With the company in receivership now, employees wait in line with other creditors and investors to see what’s left when the debts are settled.
