In the 1st robbery, a lone white male walked into the bank armed with a black semi-automatic handgun and demanded money. The suspect got away with an undisclosed amount of cash. One witness reported seeing the dye pack explode and pink smoke emanating from the front of the suspect as he fled.
In the 2nd robbery, the same suspect entered the bank, but no weapon was seen. Also in the 2nd robbery, the suspect threatened a teller and forced her to walk with him out of the bank. The suspect is described as a white male in his 40’s, about 5’-10”, wearing a two tone baseball cap, a khaki jacket, blue jeans and white tennis shoes. Detectives believe that the suspect would probably have had pink dye on his person or clothing after the 1st robbery.
Below is a surveillance photograph from the 1st bank robbery and an artist’s composite sketch of what we believe the robber looks like.
